"Neu eröffnetes Holiday Inn Express am Standort des alten Ramada, im nördlichen Redding direkt an der I-5 gelegen.
Die neu gestalteten Zimmer sind geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles makellos sauber. Der Indoor-Pool ist etwas klein, ein Whirlpool fehlt leider. Das WLAN lief instabil und stieg am späten Abend dann komplett aus. Das Frühstück war auf bei Holiday Inn gewohnt hohen Niveau mit warmen Speisen (Rührei, Würstchen, Hash Browns), Waffeln und Pancakes zum Selbermachen sowie Bagels und Cerealien."

"Spotless, peaceful, and priced for value. The hotel sits at Redding’s quiet north end—an easy drive to shops and restaurants, but far enough away to feel like a retreat. The retro ‘time-capsule’ shower delivers hot water instantly and works perfectly, and the generous dresser space makes longer stays effortless. The only negative was the slow wifi. I had to use data for my conference call."

Enjoy the tranquility and quiet surround of this superb location near the Sacramento river and trails. Be independent in your own space in this King deluxe master studio. Unwind and take a long soak in the spa bath, enjoy 'eating in' using your private little kitchenette, sit at the breakfast bar and enjoy the freshly roasted special blend of organic coffee provided by your host. Look out to the tranquil back garden and water fountains, or relax on your own porch with outdoor chairs/small table . But most of all, get a good night's sleep on a very comfortable cal king bed!
NB. You studio is your own private space with your own external access down the side of our house. It is connected to our house by a wall, and the back lawn is a shared space.
The kitchen has a sink, breakfast bar, counter space and everything you need to prepare your meals; a decent sized fridge you can stock up, microwave, coffee pot, blender, small portable oven, induction cooking element with pots, utensils, crockery and glassware.
In the room is a sofa and coffee table for you to relax, sip on your freshly roasted coffee as you look out over the back garden. The small dining room table with two chairs is great for eating meals or a work desk.
Karina is a coffee snob and owned her own cafe in New Zealand, so roasts her own unique blend of organic coffee at home which guests love! Karina thinks it's the best coffee in Redding!... Come and see what you think ;)
This is a great place to stay for those wanting a luxury retreat, conference attendees, cyclists, nature/outdoor lovers, dog owners (if you have a furry friend, please let us know to get pre-approval); and allows you to be self contained cooking meals in rather than having to eat out all the time.
It is a 4.8 mile drive to Bethel.
For your entertainment there is a television in the room with access to netflix, hulu, sling, disney plus and amazon prime. No shortage of movies to watch!
There is good wifi internet (can do video zoom calls etc), central air conditioning, off street parking outside (to the right of the garage), and access to our laundry room by request on the other side of the door from your kitchenette.
We love to host and enjoy getting to know our guests. We also respect your privacy and need for space. We are available to answer any local questions you may have. Karina works from home (up the other end of the house) so will be there most of the time, however, may not always be available to chat.

Our four-bedroom house includes a pool, a hot tub, a fully stocked kitchen, air conditioning and heater, two living rooms, smart TV, and a two-car garage. Additional parking is available on the driveway. We love our house because it's the perfect spot to relax after a full day of hiking or skiing. It is also a few minutes from Interstate 5 and Highway 44. There is a spacious kitchen and dining room with lots of counter space to accommodate food, family, fun, and friends! Pets are welcome, but please keep them off the furniture. Welcome to the Guest House! This 1-room studio with private entrance and luxury amenities is in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Suitable for a weekend getaway for 2 or family of 6. Perfect location - 3 min off I-5 and CA-299. Walk to Simpson U, 2 min drive to Bethel & Shasta College, 10 mins to Downtown / Sundial Bridge, 45 mins to Lassen NP & 60 minutes to Mt. Shasta. No stovetop/cooking facilities. Strict no pet policy. Cul-de-sac street or driveway parking. Basketball hoop & kids' playground.
The Guest House one-room studio (576 sq ft) is a comfy yet classy space to land, with a Queen bed and two Queen pull-out sofa beds for up to 6 guests. Additional 3 inch memory foam mattress toppers are included to make sleeping on the sofa beds more comfortable.
A large flat-screen TV (streaming only - no local channels) and comfy couches and chair make the space a great place to hang out.
The mini kitchen comes equipped with a 3/4 sized fridge with freezer, microwave, Keurig K-cup coffee maker, toaster and hot water kettle for tea. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided. There are no cooking facilities--no stove or cooktop.
The bathroom includes a large shower with shower head plus a hand-held sprayer, and comes fully stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
Guests with small children can use the playground right outside the guest house. For those with older kids, a basketball hoop, balls, and other outdoor sport toys will help them have fun during their stay.
