"Location was a little out of the main town (20 mins by taxi) but closer to the smaller town (10 mins by taxi) with assortment of shops shops & restaurants. Resort was. very quiet and away from the night life in town. We enjoyed the spacious room with a sea view balcony and the room was clean and air conditioned. Showers, beds were very comfortable. The resort has two main zones and a golf buggy to take you to either side (or a short walk) when required. The beach side resort has an enormous salt water pool complex suitable for kids and adults. Leading on from this pool you can step onto the beach which was quit shallow for quite a way out making for easy splashing in the surf. The other accommodation side has an indoor and outdoor pool and well equiped gym. We arrived in the off season so only one restaurant was open most of our stay - the food was of a high standard with great breakfast. Unfortunately the only bar open during our stay was the cigar bar with frequent smokers making it impossible to enjoy a quiet cocktail most of the time. Overall the stay was very nice and the staff are exceedingly friendly & helpful which made our stay all the better"

"We had an extremely disappointing experience during our May 2025 summer vacation at this hotel. Each guest was provided with only one large towel—no small or medium-sized towels were available. The service staff were incredibly slow. For every request, I had to call multiple times and constantly follow up before anything was done. At the Seagull restaurant’s lunch buffet, the grilled oysters were severely undercooked—so much so that they were still raw when served, making us unwilling to eat them. During afternoon tea, although there were no other guests at the restaurant besides our family, the staff took over 30 minutes just to prepare two portions of pastries (which appeared to be the same as those from the buffet). By the time the desserts were finally brought out, my entire family had already left—only I remained, waiting patiently. The staff then placed all the pastries into three small boxes, stacking them on top of each other in a messy, careless way before delivering them to our room. It was completely unprofessional. I honestly cannot believe this is the level of service offered at a five-star hotel."

"It's nice resort but due to lack of customers, restaurant services not very good. Not many foreign tourist in this town. Don't expect many convenience you can find in bigger city. Unless you like more expensive seafood, not many choices nearby. Do get up early to see the fisherman coming back from sea."

"Despite the description, there was no buffet breakfast. We had to order the day before, either chicken, beef or vegetable noodle soup. It was served with some sliced melon at a pre arranged time. The restaurant was not really open either, the cook (I think) spoke to us and offered a couple of dishes, we had the stir fried seafood noodles with some stir fried morning glory (a type of spinach). The noodles were very nice. There was no bar/cafe operating in the hotel in the 3 days we were there. It is quite a way from town, and the nearest ATM (about 2km). They do not take credit cards or foreign currency, so you will have to cash up on dong. Nobody seems to speak any English although it says they do on their site. The room with ‘balcony’ doesn’t actually connect to it. Overall, it was ok, but I wouldn’t stay again."
