"The staff was very friendly. Excellent service. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is included and very good. We had the breakfast every morning for 7 days and did not get tired of it. Absolutely wonderful and beautiful place to stay. Walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Room was clean and had AC. Again, the staff is WONDERFUL."

"We went there for dinner because our nearby resort was, overall, a very poor experience. They accommodated our last minute reservation and the dinner was great. Establishment was cute and clean. Yes, a little slow getting our mojitos but still a good experience."

"We arrived to this hotel a few hours early for check in but we were given our room right away. I had emailed earlier and asked for a room away from the road which was requested. We stayed on the second floor which had a balcony that overlooked the pool. It was only a 2 minute walk to the beach close to lots of restaurants. This was the end of the stay so we just laid around the pool, walked the town and went to the beach. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was a good size with a big closet. This was my husband's first vacation and this hotel and area made him fall in love with travelling. We would stay here again. We met some great people. Breakfast was large and delicious. There was a large group of teens staying here with their school so at times it did get loud past quiet times. As they would be in the pool past close. Other than that it was a great stay."

"Charmerande logi i djungeln fortfarande nära Samara5 minuter med bil (ca 20-fot).Som med många Costa Rican vägar är tillträdet en smutsspår, men det var bra även med en vanlig bil.Mycket tyst på natten, med en trevlig pool och bekväm parkering på plats. Vi älskade den privata promenad till en mest tom strand (jag skulle inte använda den efter mörka blad och möjliga kriterier).Generellt sett är en mycket bra upplevelse och ett stort värde för priset."

I came here as a solo traveler and felt very safe and also found that the small size of the hotel gave it more of a tight knit feel that made it easy to make friends at the hotel. I enjoyed chatting with Jaizel, Krystal, and Paloma and they were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, good breakfast, and in general a good value for the price."

"The gardens are nice and that's the only positive I can say. Food is limited and there are no a la carte as mentioned. Food sometimes ran out and the Cook had to be informed. Ice cream was only offered to Spanish speaking guests - we were told if we want ice cream, we should not tell anyone. Good fruit juices were also offered to Spanish speaking guests and we were offered fake sugary bottled drinks instead. TV had only Spanish and offer language program - I know it is a Spanish speaking country but 80% of guests were English speakers. Tours offered were minimal and most unavailable. Tour to nat'l park cost $300 US per person - 4 hr drive each way. You get to see a sloth 20ft up in the tree, a turtle and a snake. Mistakenly left carry on at front desk and the unfriendly women did not even bother to remind me to take the carry on. Instead, it was put aside and I later learned that some clothing items were no longer in the carry on. Also, they have power outages to save electricity. Our room was on 2nd floor and it was scary and dangerous to walk down stairs and through the gardens in total darkness to get to the buffet. I consider this to a a serious safety concern. You are isolated in this place - not much to do around. Not recommended."

"Mycket gammal hotell. Rum är rena men behöver en bra uppfriskning. Frukost är minimalistisk. Det känns som om denna lägenhet är i slutet av loppet... ingen atmosfär, lite sorglig. Enda fördelen: är mycket väl beläget i centrum av Samara och bara några steg från stranden."

"My husband and I have been traveling to Samara Costa Rica for 15+ years, usually staying during February to escape the cold northern temperatures. Samara is the perfect destination for that! Villas Verdes is located within easy walking distance to the incredible beach or the town center with nearby access to groceries stores and numerous restaurants and shops. Upon entering the grounds at Villas Verdes, you feel the outside world melt away. The beautiful well-maintained gardens and sparkling pools are inviting. The villas are pleasant, brilliantly colored, warm, and welcoming. There are various options with 1-3 bedroom villas available. All are exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated with well-appointed kitchens and comfortable beds. There is an affordable delicious breakfast offered on site. There is secure off-street parking available with a security guard monitoring the grounds and front gate at night. The owners Koriynne and Angelo are wonderful! The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The front office ladies are very accommodating. They will help with making a reservations or advice on an excellent restaurant. I highly recommend staying at Villas Verdes!!!"

Service: Everything was very straightforward, and the girls who worked there are all lovely and helpful. Location: The location is amazing. Two blocks down from the beach, and there are bars and restaurants all around. Definitely a great place to stay if you are looking to socialize."

"Detta var en så vacker och bekväm plats att bo.Det är gömt bort men bara en 5-minuters promenad till stranden.Landskapet och omgivningen är så lyxig och våra lägenheter var mycket bekväma, med luftkonditionering och mycket trevliga sängar. Våra rum hade minikylskåp och mycket fina handdukar både för badrummet och poolen.Vi kunde enkelt gå var som helst vi ville i stan.Vi kände oss mycket säkra här, med den portugisiska parkeringen och de stängda trädgårdarna.Frukost serverad på plats hade många alternativ. Detta är en vacker anläggning för familjer och första gången besökare.Högt rekommenderat!!"
