"I was staying at Bourne Hall for work and I must say the hotel was very nice and the staff where fantastic , especially scarlett she was and fantastic hostest .. callem was also wonderful and very accommodating to all our needs .. the breakfast dinners served were fantastic"

The Kenbury B&B

"I found the advertisement of the hotel contradicted the reality. It says it's non-smoking and yet the hallway smelt that people had been smoking there It showed in the photos on the most photogenic aspect of the property being a period property. Behind it was a 1970s extended shabby extension. The proprietor was most inflexible at insisting on 4pm book ins. I understand that this is specified on the website, but surely there should be some flexibility with a young child.?? I cannot comprehend the positive reviews.. A lot of the low ratings I found had the same issues that I experienced upon trying to book in. I found the proprietor was unfriendly. The parking spaces are miniscule. Luckily I found another place to stay as I found the presentation of the place unwholesome and residents unfriendly. I wish I had never booked here as I lost money on a hotel that I would not wish to stay at"

Birkdale Guest House

"We arrived after a long flight from Australia and checked in at the Birkdale Guest House. From the minute we were greeted by Colin and Lesley we felt right at home at this venue. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had lovely decor. Everything was so clean and fresh including the spacious bathroom. The choices for breakfast were amazing, just so many and the food was delicious! The fruit salad was definitely the best fruit salad I've ever had! Birkdale Guest House is in a great location to access the old village with lots of eateries within a short walk, also close to Shanklin Chine and the beautiful Esplanade. The local buses are efficient and frequent and also very close by, if like us, you don't have a car. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay on our arrival into the UK and so glad we chose to visit the Isle of Wight. Thank you Lesley and Colin. "

Brooke House

"Vi hade ett bra vistelse i denna B&B och skulle rekommendera Brooke House.Vi blev tvungna att känna oss så välkomna av Hana. Vårt rum var oskyldigt rent och välutrustat, och platsen var idealisk stilla men bekvämt nära stadscentrum och järnvägs-/bussförbindelser.Frukost, som Steve förberedde, var en höjdpunkt - alla nykokta.Det satte oss perfekt för dagen! Vi tvekar inte att återvända när vi nästa gång besöker Wight Island."

Rylstone Manor

"Från det ögonblick vi kom hit var ägarna Carol och Mike så vänliga och välkomnande.Hotellet var extremt rent och vårt rum var oförskämt.Dekorationen var söt, mycket smakfull och uppmärksamheten på detaljer var beundransvärd. Frukost var söt, redo vid den tidpunkt du bokade, lagad till perfektion och kvaliteten på de ingredienser som användes var fantastisk!Omgivningen var mycket fredlig, men nära nog till Shanklin Old Town för att kunna gå dit på kvällarna för att äta."
