Shaoxing Hotel
"The room was quite spacious. I was given a room on the 3rd floor of Building 2. There was construction nearby, but the soundproofing in the room was excellent, so it didn't really bother me. It's also very close to the back entrance, which made coming and going super convenient. Public transportation was easily accessible too. The hotel's landscaping and garden design are lovely, making it a great spot for photos. The restaurant is right next door, which was very convenient for breakfast, and you can also have other meals there. The prices were decent and quite reasonable. Ordering takeout here was a bit inconvenient. Firstly, there weren't many good restaurants available for delivery. Secondly, delivery drivers could only drop off at the lobby entrance; there were no robots or staff to bring it to the room, so I had to go pick it up myself. Transportation was pretty good. It was easy to call a taxi. Bus stops were about a 400-600 meter walk from the hotel, and there were many bus routes that could take me to almost all the attractions. Just be aware that some bus routes have infrequent service, so you might have to wait a long time for certain buses. For shorter distances, renting an electric scooter would be very convenient."

"This time I stayed in a two-story garden view villa in Phase 1. There's a living room on the first floor and the bedroom is on the second floor. There's also a mini courtyard outside, which is particularly charming. The bathroom has been newly renovated, with a glass door, new shower walls, and a well-maintained showerhead. The toilet has a smart seat, which dispels the online reviews saying Phase 1 is old-fashioned. The hotel is gradually upgrading. Today, I even saw them replacing the TVs in the rooms, switching from LG to Philips! The mattress is very comfortable, and you can request latex or oat pillows. Even though each villa is independent, room service is incredibly quick; anything you ask for is delivered promptly. Hotel buggies are available for transportation, supposedly every five minutes, but they're basically on-call. The staff members are all very polite and ask where we're going, offering their own tips. Special thanks to Chen Fu, who helped carry our luggage all the way when he picked us up. I was dawdling, and he patiently waited by the luggage instead of going to the car first. Very professional and truly understands service! Check-out was very quick; handing in the key and getting the invoice done in one go. Lu Jie, the staff member at the front desk, was very polite and professional, answering all my questions fluently. He even thoughtfully gave me a souvenir, fermented bean curd and preserved vegetables. The hotel breakfast is a bit mediocre and repetitive; it's the same every day. However, the quality of the items is good. It's a case of good quality making up for a lack of variety. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be the turndown service. I specifically asked and confirmed it was available, but after a day out, I returned to the room and nothing had been done. When I called to inquire, they said their turndown service is exactly like that – nothing!?! Fortunately, I've stayed at Kaiyuan Qiziwan for half a month, so I know Kaiyuan trains its staff. Since our domestic brands are becoming stronger and services more diverse, I still hope they can learn some excellent service practices from international hotels."

Jag stannade på hotellet till klockan sex och kände mig mycket bekväm hela tiden. Det enda som kunde förbättras är frukost.Valet var ganska stort, men det var mestadels lokalt avsett mat.Det skulle vara bra om det fanns fler västerländska eller internationella alternativ för gäster.Det finns en vacker sjö nära hotellet. Överlag var min vistelse mycket trevlig – ett rent hotell med vänlig personal och bra service.Jag skulle definitivt stanna här igen!"

Dongyueli Hotel (Shaoxing Downtown Area Cangqiao Straight Street)
"The worst check-in experience ever, I'm furious! 1. **Parking instructions are useless.** The butler sent parking directions in advance, but when we arrived at the garage using navigation, it was already full and closed. They didn't notify us beforehand or arrange alternative parking, leaving us to wait around and waste time. 2. **Valet parking is an absolute joke (Pics 2, 3).** They advertised valet service, but only one manager in the entire hotel could drive. We had two cars checking in during a holiday, and the other car was chased by traffic police for five or six blocks. We had to wait for the manager the whole time – it was incredibly disruptive. 3. **False advertising, zero integrity.** The butler promised valet parking was available anytime, but it actually only operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We had drinks in the evening and wanted staff to move the car for charging, but couldn't. Then, when we were rushing to check out early in the morning, there was no staff to drive the car to the hotel. Their promises were all empty words. The front desk just made excuses and didn't solve the problem. In the end, it was Trip.com customer service that helped us out. 4. **Seriously substandard hygiene.** Photos taken right after check-in (Pics 4-6) show dust everywhere in the room, and even hair around the toilet. The hygiene details were completely neglected. 5. **If you're traveling with kids or have allergies, DO NOT come here! There are tons of mosquitoes and bugs!!** The hotel is right by the river (Pic 7). It's also a pet-friendly hotel, and being next to the river means there are loads of mosquitoes and bugs when it's warm. Our elders stayed in a ground-floor room by the riverside green belt. They woke up with mosquito bites on their ankles and thighs, and a skin rash with redness on their arms (Pics 8-10) – it was a terrible ordeal. 6. **Advertised amenities are a false gimmick (Pic 11).** The qipao experience listed on the page was never mentioned by anyone and completely unfulfilled. Pure false advertising. I've stayed in many hotels during holidays, but I've never seen a place with such bad service, poor hygiene, zero integrity, and amenities that are all just for show! I advise all travelers to steer clear and don't spend your money just to suffer!"

"Traveling by car, parking is always a headache, but this hotel solved it perfectly! The parking lot is spacious and leads directly to the lobby. The location is excellent; we could walk to all the famous old restaurants nearby. The front desk even helped us plan our sightseeing route. The room was spacious and clean, with no strange odors. Breakfast was replenished promptly. Although we didn't experience the robot delivery service, seeing it busy in the building gave us the impression of modern management. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling by car."

"The holiday is over, and I went out to avoid peak hours. I didn't expect that there were still so many people that the car couldn't drive in. The place where I stayed was a little more than 2 kilometers away from Lu Xun's Former Residence. The hotel had free parking. I asked the front desk lady that I had to make an appointment in advance to go to Lu Xun's Former Residence and Xu Wei Art Museum. I parked the car at the hotel and went to the scenic area. I queued up with my ID card. It is recommended to queue up for the Wupeng boat in the evening, so that you can feel the sunset on the swaying boat Stinky tofu, rice wine popsicles, rice wine milk tea, Magnolia tofu (this is recommended for summer, it has a strong mint flavor), Kong Yiji's favorite fennel beans, Xunbaoji's preserved vegetable braised pork, drunken shrimp, drunken crab, sauce duck, and Xishi tofu are all worth recommending."
