"This a warning for anyone intending to use their venue/ hotel for an event. I booked this place for my wedding. I even reserved multiple rooms for my guests. I placed a down payment to secure the event. Upon paying the down payment, it was communicated that the venue is ours. ONE MONTH before the wedding the staff notified us that the OWNER of the hotel is hosting a political event on the day of my wedding in the same area of the reception and ceremony. They gave us the option to either move the wedding to the atrocious rec room upstairs with no A/C. The room also did not have a view of the sea, mountains and will not be able to see the sunset. The other option was to move the wedding date or find another place. Take note, we already had the wedding plan in place and the whole layout and decoration planned. They have caused such a huge inconvenience for us. One month before the wedding we had to start from scratch again and find a new venue to hold my wedding. The owner did not even have the guts to communicate with us and had their middle man handle this. Just because he is the owner, he can do whatever he wants. We settled on a refund but did not even offer any compensations for our inconvenience. This is very poor customer service and not a good way to run a business. If you do choose this place, please be warned on how they run their business. I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy."
