"The location is great, right next to King's Cross metro station. There's a McDonald's, Woolworths, and Coles nearby, making it super convenient for food and groceries. However, it can get a bit rowdy at night; you can hear drunk people yelling on the street and police sirens from the room. There's no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might want to ask for a room on a lower floor. The kitchen isn't very clean, so if you plan on cooking, I'd recommend bringing your own pots. Despite these points, it's a good budget option in the area that includes breakfast, so it's still worth considering!"

"I appreciated that the staff were friendly and the bedsheets and toilets were clean. However, there is a relative lack of amenities and comfort, which is reflected in the lower price of this hostel compared to others. Each floor had two toilets and two showers, but 1 of the toilets on my floor was spoilt. There is only 1 elevator for the whole building meaning that sometimes I had to wait fairly long to go up / down. The only charging ports were in the lockers, which made it inconvenient to use my phone. Don’t get me wrong, this hostel does do the basics unapologetically, but if you have budget I’d recommend paying more for a better hostels."

"The water was turned off 3 times. No power 2 times. Had to wash our own towels as we were not offered new ones in the 9 days we stayed. No change of sheets in 9 days. The kitchen was dirty. Had to request new teatowels .Owners walk in and out, so no privacy. Had to share bathroom and toilet with others. Some were not very clean . Television did not work properly."
