"We traveled in June 2023. We rented a car and drove to the property, easy to find even though the roads are tiny....be careful if traveling at night. Food and service was amazing. A wonderful place to dine. We stayed for three nights. The pool and pool service was top notch. Turn down service was lovely and the staff was always very friendly. I do think they need to communicate better. They do not have irons in the room and we requsted one and they said they would do it for us. But...they charged us $35 for two shirts. They did not communicate that there would be a charge. We called the front desk to inquire about that and all they said was sorry we did not tell you. We also had a lot of ants on our balcony...it was really gross. They did spray non-toxic stuff to help with the issue. Vence is a very pretty town and this hotel is worth a few nights, very unique and again the food was delicious. The breakfast everyday was wonderful and creative We regret renting a car and driving there ourselfs. It would have been easier taking a taxi from Nice. We came all the way from Saint Tropez, so we wish we would have dropped our car off in Nice by the train station. Tips: We traveled with our daughter who was 11 at the time. They treated her like a princess. This hotel also has an amazing spa....and great gym. Not to be missed!!"

"La Maison du Frene ligger direkt i centrum av Old Vence - det är den PERFECT-läge.Antoine, Thierry & Guy kunde inte ha varit trevligare eller mer uppmärksam. De gav utmärkta rekommendationer för middag, promenader och besök i andra lokala byar.De var de perfekta värdarna.Vi hade vad som verkligen var en liten lägenhet som vi inte förväntade oss.Den var vackert dekorerad. Det hade ett litet kök som var super användbart för att hålla drycker och mat cool.Det fanns också en kedja och en mikrovåg.Sängen var mycket bekväm och badrummet var mycket rymligt med en mycket stor promenad i duschen. Sammanfattningsvis var det ett vackert rum och super bekvämt.En liten utmattning var att det kunde vara ganska bullrigt med motorcyklar som passerar i kväll."

"We planned on staying 2 nights but didn't stay even for 1 night. Room was tiny, fridge still dirty with olives from previous client in fridge. ice box iced up. Big stain on ceiling, door to room paint flaking off, bathroom shower floor tiles broken and looked dirty. Poolside rough stones and grass surrounding pool mostly soil. No cushion for wooden sunbed so very hard.very noisy due to construction site next door. First time I have ever left a hotel as felt it was not clean. "

"The place it's great , but don't have room service cleaning , and the máster bedroom bed it's terrible, really small ( the bedroom AND they bed) , tow diferent small matress terrible sleeping . Please change the bedsss "
