"The hotel in it self is not bad but the management is not trust wordy. I had a financial discussion about breakfast what was paid twice by me. I mentioned this to the staff and the promised to help me. After I checked out I asked it again “ no no problem we will arrange this”. That’s a week ago! I sent 3 mails with “help” not even a reply. Boring your money somewhere else where they really help you when you have problem. Not just Words without meaning."

"We planned on staying 2 nights but didn't stay even for 1 night. Room was tiny, fridge still dirty with olives from previous client in fridge. ice box iced up. Big stain on ceiling, door to room paint flaking off, bathroom shower floor tiles broken and looked dirty. Poolside rough stones and grass surrounding pool mostly soil. No cushion for wooden sunbed so very hard.very noisy due to construction site next door. First time I have ever left a hotel as felt it was not clean. "

As a solo traveller from Asia, I enjoyed a wonderful dinner, and because of its serene surrounding, I over spent willingly to indulge myself in an evening of fine dinning. Vitorie is a small boutique hotel, so don't set too high an expectation. Its superb location is worth what you are paying for it...."

And especially, the lady on reception who on hearing that that I lost the back of a diamond earring promised to send it on to me if the cleaning staff found it. Three days later, back in the UK, I was thrilled to see a package from Hotel Cantemerle. That's what I call a fantastic service!"

"Traditional, quiet, clean and warm hotel. The location is strategic, the scenery outside the window is particularly beautiful, and the view is great. The reception staff were friendly and polite and I had a great three nights. If I have another chance to go back to Vence, I will choose this hotel again."

"Utmärkt läge.Vår lägenhet (3 sovrum på andra våningen) hade en fantastisk utsikt med bergs-/dalens utsikt.Lägenheten var ren och rymlig och personalen var mycket vänlig. Poolen var bra för våra pojkar (10 och 15), även om det inte fanns mycket utrymme runt poolen att sitta.Platsen är mycket bekvämt att se en stor del av Cote D'Azur.Platser som St Paul de Vence och Tourettes sur Loup är vackra platser nära. Vi rekommenderar noggrant att stanna här och gå tillbaka."

"Bra läge i hjärtat av denna medeltida lilla stad.Så många val av boutique-restauranger i närheten. Som en ensam resande från Asien njöt jag av en underbar middag, och på grund av dess lugna omgivningar tillbringade jag övervilligt att förlåta mig själv i en kväll av fin middag.Vitoria är ett litet boutiquehotell, så sätt inte för högt ett förväntningar. "My wife & I enjoyed a great stay here. Location is very good, 10 mins walk into the lovely town of Vence & 10 mins drive into St Paul de Vence and only 30 mins dive to Nice. Rooms are very well appointed, clean & comfortable. There’s plenty of sun beds & day beds dotted around the garden to relax and enjoy the sun. WiFi is excellent, strong enough to stream from Netflix. The staff were excellent and very helpful, recommending take away deliveries when the restaurant was shut & providing us with cutlery & crockery when delivered. Restaurant was fantastic (separate review). Only reason for not awarding 5 stars is because of the prices of extras... a cup of coffee was 7 euros!! Small bottles of water in the mini bar 4 euros. 10 euros for a cognac. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. "
