"My dog,Khaos and I loved it!! The only small tiny issue we had was a place to potty. We had to walk across the street but the night time desk lady was amazing and extremely kind. Khaos and i got the rest we needed to finish our trip home!! With a bagel and coffee on our way out! Thank you!!!"

The 2-story, tin-roof cabin sleeps 14 and boasts 4 cozy bedrooms (a master on both levels!), 2 baths, a stocked kitchen, dining area. Enjoy the rocking chairs and hanging bed on the front porch. There’s also a swim pier, boat dock, fire pit, piano. Located 40 min from Birmingham. Bring your own boat (public boat launch five min away) or rent one nearby.
Full access to the property.
Other things to note
Swim at own risk, there are no lifeguards on property. No diving allowed. Children must be supervised and life jackets must be worn at all times near the water.
If you opt to hunt or fish, please make sure you have the appropriate state licenses from the state of Alabama and are following the published hunting season schedule.
There is a 1-slip boat dock available for guest use. A public boat launch is located 5 minutes away. We are not responsible for any damage to guest boats or boating equipment.
The kitchen is fully equipped (plates, forks, knives, spoons, pots, pans, bowls, toaster), kitchen towels - coffee, sugar, creamer, tea, paper towels, dish soap, and dishwasher pods. This home no doubt is super conveniently located with access to two major marina's Duskin Point and Squirrel's Marina only blocks away. As well as free dam launch 5 miles. Curry minutes away and Jasper Corridor X only 20 miles away. This property is among the absolute best lots and location on Smith Lake!

A vacant corner lot 200 feet from home will allow for boat trailer, jet-ski trailer and overflow guest parking is provided. The rates for labor day/memorial day 4th july are $500.00 additional for a 4 night booking. The house can be used as two separate houses and basically is two kitchens two laundry rooms with washers and dryers .There are two porches both covered and both with table and chairs for lake front views. All of the kitchens are equipped with new Pioneer Women pots and pans, new coffee maker's and can opener's, and silverware. The flooring is mostly tile whitewashed hardwood look a like with some hardwood look a like vinyl plank.

The western side of the lake's watershed is crowned by the 180,000-acre Bankhead National Forest, which blankets the deeply dissected southern edge of the Cumberland Plateau. The Sipsey Fork of the Black Warrior River, Alabama's only Wild and Scenic River, flows through the Bankhead National Forest. The Sipsey Wilderness, Land of a Thousand Waterfalls, lies within the Bankhead National Forest and is home to Alabama's largest tree, a tulip poplar with a 21-foot circumference at its base.
