The glass roof is heated, so it stays clear despite of changing weather. Bed linen/towels and final cleaning are included in rent. Storeroom (no heating) with bench for skis maintenance. It is not allowed to charge an electric car. Pets are allowed at extra fee, which is charged per pet. Cabin is equipped with air source heat pump, which can also be used for cooling in summer. Good mushroom picking and berry growing terrains nearby. Cabin is located in a beautiful and calm area on the riverside. Saariselkä, Kakslauttanen and Kiilopää can be reached easily. The airport bus stop is 1.6 km away (using the pedestrian bridge, the distance is shorter), Saariselkä tourist center 12 km, Kiilopää 7.5 km. Illuminated ski trail 200 m (access to Kiilopää and Saariselkä -trails). Distance to the border of the Urho Kekkonen National Park is 6 km, hiking trails nearby.

An atmospheric cabin in town. Near the Arctic Circle, Santa's Village and Ounasvaara ski resort. Log-built yard cabin, built in 2006, is located in the Saarenkylä district of detached houses. Owner's house is near and own road lead to the cabin. The cabin is renewed and renovated in 2021. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, sleeping alcove with double bed, washroom/WC and covered terrace. There is no sauna in the cabin. Final cleaning and bed linen are included in the prices. The double bed is pre-made and bed linen for the sofa bed is ready in the cabin. Pets allowed at extra fee, which is charged per pet. Please add a pet fee to your booking according to the number of pets. The area is peaceful and there is no traffic passing through. On the other side of the cabin is forest and railway. Only a couple of trains operate on the railway daily. On the neighboring plot, there is a construction yard of a row house.
