The building entrance and the reception areas are impressive. The receptionist is very welcoming. But the room itself feels like a cheap motel. Neet, but cheap. Not worth the price. Beds sound like a camp bed, but it feels ok. The shower is just in the same area as a toilet, and for the shower you stand right on the floor, the same floor as a toilet. Coffee/tea amenities: two cheap cups, and normal two coffee,sugar,creamer. Interestingly that coffee has a label of the hotel, but not cups. Lights are not enough in the room, it feels dark. And there is no central turning on/off switch for light in the room. You need to turn on/off each and every light manually. No hair dryer. There is no separate shampoo. It's just all in one soap+shampoo liquid. Leaving your luggage/bags after checkout is not for free. They have lockers, which you need to pay for. The breakfast buffet is nothing fancy, and not a lot of options. The location is good. Not far away from the center. And there were no city views from my room, but it said so when booking. And there is a small gym inside.

Copenhagen Downtown Hostel – Capsule Stay Review This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel in Copenhagen (£80 per night), after hearing positive feedback from friends who had travelled here. I decided to try the quiet zone option with a comfortable capsule located near the hostel facilities. Pros: • Excellent location in the heart of the city, with restaurants, bars, and cafés within walking distance. • Easy access to all main attractions. • The capsule area was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, I left with mixed feelings. While the location and cleanliness met expectations, the hostel’s operation style felt more “self-service” and less attentive to guest concerns. On the first night, my sleep was disrupted by a guest in the quiet zone who was both noisy and snored loudly throughout the night. It affected everyone in the vicinity, and despite some guests (myself included) gently knocking to try and reduce the disturbance, it continued until morning. On the second night, the same issue occurred, but it was made worse by a sudden emergency alarm at around 4:45 AM, requiring all guests to evacuate and wait outside for inspection before returning to bed. Understandably, safety comes first, but the timing and the combination of disturbances made it impossible to rest. When I tried to contact staff in the middle of the night, there was no one available, so I had to raise the issue through Trip.com. Although staff later offered some coins as a goodwill gesture, it did not feel proportionate to the £80 per night rate... especially when nearby private rooms can be found for much less. Sadly, what I hoped would be a unique and comfortable stay turned into a frustrating experience. I will not be returning, and I would advise light sleepers to consider alternatives.

Vänlig personal. Kunde inte checka in tidigt vilket var bra men var tvungen att hyra ett skåp för att förvara bagage tills rummet var klart. Rummet var rent, tänk på kryssningsfartygets storlek. Stort vattentryck i duschen. De har en värmare men ingen luftkonditionering. Endast handtvål i badrummet, inget schampo eller kroppstvätt så ta med egen. Plats: 2 minuters promenad från tågstationen som ligger 2 hållplatser till centralstationen. Var medveten om att järnvägsstationens avfart på sidan av vägen vid hotellet endast var trappor. Hissen var på diagonalt motsatt sida utan möjlighet att korsa på grund av konstruktion.

Extremely good value for money. Clean, bright hotel, nice reception, big enough and very pleasant room for the price point. Great staff, drinks sold downstairs in the lobby. I was very happy with the excellent value for money. The location was a 4 not a 5 as it was a little bit away from the centre, but very close to Tivoli.

The room is quite spacious with three beds, though the hotel feels a bit dated. A major issue, however, is the shower space in the bathroom; once you pull the shower curtain, it becomes so narrow that it is very easy to accidentally touch the scalding hot faucet. Aside from that, everything else was perfectly fine.

Visste inte vad jag skulle förvänta mig. Förstod att det var compact living. Men lite rund som jag är så var det nog lite väl compact för min smak(jag är en XL-XXL). Det var trevlig personal i receptionen & rent på rummet. Elen var lite skum, det var antingen tänt eller släckt. En pappmugg/person vilket kändes lite snålt. Men vi kunde säkert fått fler om vi hade frågat. Skön säng, madrassen i våningssängen var dock väldigt hård enligt dottern. Frukosten var ok, men saknade bacon till mina skramlade ägg som var fantastiskt goda. Men förväntar mig lite mer av en hotellfrukost. Inte riktigt prisvärt men en kul upplevelse.

Min vistelse på a&o Hostel København Nørrebro var en blandad kompott, vilket ledde till mitt betyg 3 av 5. På den positiva sidan erbjuder vandrarhemmet ett gemensamt kök, vilket var en utmärkt bekvämlighet. Det gjorde det möjligt för budgetmedvetna resenärer som jag själv att laga några av våra egna måltider och spara pengar på att äta ute i Köpenhamn. Denna flexibilitet var definitivt ett plus. Frukosten som vandrarhemmet erbjöd var dock mycket enkel. Även om den tjänade sitt grundläggande syfte saknade den variation och var inte särskilt spännande. Det hade varit trevligt att ha några fler alternativ tillgängliga för att starta dagen. Sammantaget erbjuder a&o Hostel København Nørrebro ett hyfsat budgetboendealternativ, särskilt med tanke på att det finns ett gemensamt kök. De som letar efter en mer rejäl och varierad frukost kan dock bli missnöjda. Det 3-stjärniga betyget återspeglar denna balans mellan ett användbart gemensamt kök och ett ganska enkelt frukostutbud.

Rooms were very small and a bit worn off, but bed was okay and comfortable. To open the windows, you need to climb on the bed first. Bathroom small but more or less clean - no room service except you ask for it! Breakfast simple but okay, location great beeing directly in City Center. Next subway station to airport was a 10min walk. Get the Burger just out the door when you see it’s empty - because it usually always is crowded!

I can’t imagine a better location for a stay in Copenhagen. Being right next to the main train station made exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient. The room was just the right size for a couple, and the in-room sink was a thoughtful touch that made getting ready in the mornings and evenings much smoother. The shared bathrooms were also a pleasant surprise — each toilet and shower had its own private cubicle, which felt much more comfortable and well-designed compared to typical hostel setups. The room didn’t have air conditioning, but the fan provided was more than enough for me, even though I normally run hot. We noticed the room could feel a bit stuffy with the windows closed, so we tried to keep them open as much as possible. The downside was that the street noise from people and cars at night sometimes disturbed our sleep. The only other drawback was the luggage storage. It’s not included in the stay, and there’s an extra charge of 40 DKK per bag for the day, plus a 5 DKK service fee per bag. A small detail, but something worth knowing in advance.

Kort promenad från Norrebro station har detta vandrarhem en labyrint av vinyltält över två våningar i ett höghus. Checkin-nivån har också en bar med biljardbord och andra spel och några lättare materbjudanden. Musik från baren kan överföras till sovplatserna så att öronproppar tillhandahålls. Jag skulle inte rekommendera här för något längre än ett par dagar men eftersom det inte finns något kök eller kylskåp tillgängligt. Tält som fyller interiören är inte heller det bästa designvalet eftersom det kan verka lite klaustrofobiskt och inte erbjuder mycket luftcirkulation. Priset är rättvist dock. 25 Kronor frukost serveras också 7-10.
