I have stayed here before and the location and price were right. This time however I was very disappointed and honestly feel I should recieve a refund do to the condition of the room. For starters there were roaches behind the bed and by the desk area and the carpet was seemed together terribly . Did not appear that the room was cleaned very well at all. Then I went to take a shower and notice it had zip ties and tinfoil holding some of the shower head together. I had a first floor room and the window latch was broken as well. This was very dissatisfying and definetly made it hard to sleep after noticing roaches behind the bed . I usually never leave reviews if I’m not satisfied with something but I feel an obligation to leave this review to prevent any traveling business people from picking this hotel because the location is great but it is a party hotel if you ask me. I would definetly like to be refunded for this terrible experience.

GGästanvändareOur stay was short because we were just in town for a wedding, but you get what you pay for. Especially for only 62$ a night. It was decent cleanliness, i mainly marked it down because we found and killed 3 bugs, which bugs are like my worst enemy. We checked for bed bugs, there weren’t any. we also marked it down because of the little smell that wasn’t quite right and on one of the bed sheets there was a brown stain. a tip for the staff if they are reading this, the plug in wall scent thing needs to go upright, you put it upside down and it leaked all over the nightstand! Also to maybe even the owner, bug traps are so cheap, just some sticky ones behind the fridge and dressers would do you wonders. It would prevent from your customers having to see the bugs as well as having to kill them. The amenities are marked low because the pool was closed, and the restaurant that’s attached seems to not be in business. there was no signs that we could see saying that the business was closed but it looked that way.
The location is good, 10 minutes away from downtown! it’s a little bit of a rural area but it worked well for us as the wedding venue was only 10 minutes away.
So any future customers, if you are expecting a holiday inn or better, you aren’t gonna get it! This feels more like a mix between motel 6 and a super 8. Lower your expectations if you come here. it’s a doable place for a cheap stay.

GGästanvändareThe staff was very friendly when I arrived, and checkout was quick and easy, which I really appreciated. I also requested a 6am wake-up call, and they followed through right on time, which was very helpful.
My room was clean, the heater worked well, and overall I was happy with the comfort and cleanliness of the space.
A couple of downsides: there’s no elevator, so I had to carry a heavy suitcase up the stairs to my room. Breakfast was okay, but there weren’t many options to choose from.
The only other issue was the atmosphere in the common areas. While this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, there were a a few guests who made things feel a bit uncomfortable. One person was loudly arguing and swearing in the hallway and at the front desk, and another guest appeared to be staying long-term, scolding her kids and a baby running around the breakfast area in just a diaper. It gave the public spaces a slightly uneasy vibe, even though the staff handled things as best they could and were consistently kind and professional.
Overall, I had a clean and comfortable stay, and I’d consider staying again if I needed a place in a pinch — I’d just keep expectations modest regarding amenities and the general lobby/hallway environment.

GGästanvändareThe hotel has a swimming pool, but I didn't use it, which is why I cannot comment on it in more detail. However, I have seen some people using it. There was breakfast served every morning, but the selection was basic. I wish they had regular corn flakes for cereals in addition to the three other types. However, bagels, muffins, sausages and fried egg discs plus different juices are enough to give you strength for the start of the day.
Here are the positives and negatives of this hotel:
++ Conveniently located near the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, CVTC and Marshfield Clinic. There are many restaurants and fast-food places around, and there is a bus stop close by, as well as a Kwik Trip gas station.
+ The room was cozy and clean.
+ The room had a futon and a good desk.
- Wifi did not always work reliably; sometimes, I had to enter the credentials repeatedly after some time went by.
-- Poor sound insulation: When someone walked above my room, it felt like that person was tramping. Fortunately, the guest above me moved out, but if you want silence, insist on a room on the second floor.
Overall, I had a good time at the hotel, and the staff was friendly. I feel like it provides good value for money.

First night walking on the carpet in our room barefoot & the carpet seemed damp, like maybe they steam cleaned it. I used the pull out couch for my 5 year old, when setting it up I noticed a heavily wet spot in the carpet by the mini fridge, the pullout is fine for kids that can sleep on anything but I found it too thin to even comfortably sit on.
By morning the wet spot by the fridge was even bigger, we informed the front desk & they said they'd let maintenance know to go up to check, to our knowledge they never did.
The pool was nice & luke warm at all times, they use salt water which is nicer than the chemical smell of chlorine.
The included breakfast buffet is ok. The waffle maker is always a hit with kids. We recommend skipping the eggs and sausage, they gave us tummy troubles. Coffee was awful according to my husband & tea provided is just plain Lipton.
Location right off the expressway is great, travel to downtown events was less than 15 minutes away. Plenty of stores & restaurants nearby.
For a fully booked weekend stay it was very quiet.
We would consider going here again for the price, pool & location.

GGästanvändareThe cleaning staff was amazing, the pool was decently clean but there were signs of wear. The breakfast wasn't very good, on the lower end of free breakfasts for hotels. The Front desk staff was basically non-existent, left the previous check-in person's information on the screen when we started to check-in. The keycards to get in stopped working before check-out time. One of our rooms keycard stopped working the day before checkout and the other room the keycard failed for the rooms at least sometime before 8 AM on checkout day, we were lucky we left someone in the room when we were loading the car. Toilet flush would make noises in the shower and it just felt like the rooms were poorly constructed. It is a nice stay right now, and the price is good, the room cleaning staff did a wonderful amazing job, I cannot give them enough compliments, the beds were very comfy and everything worked well now. I just fear that as time goes on things will break and won't be fixed, (there was a very large chip in our tub) but while things are relatively new it should be a good place to stay for someone wanting to explore the Wisconsin Dells.

GGästanvändareMin vuxna son och jag var tvungna att resa till Rhinelander på helgen för en begravning.Det fanns också en sportkonferens på gång, så alla hotell var ganska dyra inklusive Cobblestone.När jag fick över prischocket, njöt vi mycket av hotellet. Det var nytt, så rent, och sängar var mycket bekväma.Vi hade ett rum med två drottningssängar, plus ett annat område med en sektions soffa och en annan TV.Jag tror att alla grupper med små barn skulle ha älskat det rum och TV-kanaler som gällde barn! Vi förstår inte hur TV:n fungerade, så när jag ringde fram till frontdesk, kom en mycket trevlig ung kvinna upp och visade oss hur den fungerade.Även om det var underbart, tror jag att tryckta instruktioner från TV skulle ha fungerat och sparat dem en tid! Frukost var bra ....pulverade scrambled ägg, men många andra röster att gå med det.Det fanns en familjerestaurang precis bredvid dörren, men var bara öppen för frukost och lunch.Jag skulle definitivt stanna där igen!
