Best Hotel we've had so far on this trip. Great room with a bathtub on the balcony, smart toilet, nice slippers, great hairdryer and a huge TV. Just the makeup mirror didn't work. The gym was good and the breakfast was amazing. Lots of delicious options, much better than the other hotels so far. Location also good, quite near to the entrance to Huangguoshu. We were happy to find the free washing machine and dryer.

The hotel service is excellent, very attentive, friendly and always with a small. The quality of the amenities are very high quality. The location is in the middle of the town and easy to walk around.  The room is very big. The night show is very good with high quality. Even better than the show we pay. The only minor thing is the singing in nearby pub. They put the amplifier outside the pub and sang till after 11 pm which is very disturbing. This happened to most of the pub. The village manager should stop them.

I had an amazing stay, largely thanks to Lotti at the front desk.From the moment I walked in, Lotti was incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations. Lotti also helped us to order delivery foods late in the night when we're too lazy to step out. Thank you for making my stay so memorable. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, and this time I experienced their popular suite, which had a fantastic view, overlooking both the city skyline and Jiaxiu Tower. Interestingly, their bathroom facilities are all located on the balcony. Janice at the front desk was also exceptionally helpful, and the complimentary coasters were very pretty and unique！

I recently stayed at Gu Lai Xi Hotel @ 鎭远古镇and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, clearly reflecting the hotel’s recent renovation (just a year ago). Everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. What truly made my stay special, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the owners. They were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Whether it was providing local tips or assisting with any requests, their warmth made me feel right at home. The location is perfect - quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to Zhen Yuan’s key attractions. I loved how easy it was to explore the nearby landmarks without being in a noisy tourist area. Overall, Gu Lai Xi offers great value - excellent facilities, superb service, and an ideal location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting 鎭远古镇

Very good breakfast. The room is big, however smells smoke in spite of us specifically requesting non-smoking room. In the evening the hotel's reception is full of drunk people - apparently some club operates in the same place

The hotel room and facilities are great, service is also very good, I was served by Liu Meiao, and she was very helpful and hospitable. Breakfast selection was also varied and of good quality. Great stay, hotel restaurant food was nice too.

I booked 2 rooms for my family of 5, with one child. We stayed in the deluxe twin room which has been renovated earlier this year/last year. The room and bathroom are spacious , bright and clean (except for the doorway inside the room near the closet ) with good view. The staff quality is of high standard. They all are professional and friendly (from the bell boy, the front desk to the servers in the restaurant). The executive lounge is on 53/f and it’s cozy. The view there is nice. The lounge provides a range of snacks with very professional hotel service. The breakfast also offers a variety of food and drinks. We enjoyed it! Regarding the location, there’re a shopping mall (1 to 2 min walk) and many convenient stores nearby. It’s also within walking distance to the tourist spot Jia shou Lou (甲秀樓.). However, it’s is not too close to the subway.

However, the effort is well worth it. From the moment we arrived, our butler was incredibly attentive, offering a pickup service and always being available to answer questions or help with any needs. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and full of character, with stunning views that make you want to linger by the window. One of the most unique highlights is the rooftop photoshoot service—the backdrop is absolutely spectacular, and the photos turned out unbelievably beautiful. Overall, despite the slightly tricky journey, the combination of personalized service, charming rooms, and unforgettable experiences makes this hotel a true hidden gem.

An excellent hotel in the heart of the ancient city! Fengyi Fanju offers a truly authentic experience without sacrificing any modern comforts. The property is beautiful and peaceful, the room was clean and stylish, and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Waking up here felt like a dream. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a unique and memorable stay.
