Very beautiful hotel, one could call it upscale the least - better than many other 5 star hotels I stayed at, while officially it is actually not classified with 5 stars. Most staff was extremely friendly and professional. It smells nice, feels fancy, floor heating, rain shower, sound isolation, all the little nice things.
It is just missing a sauna, only issue I could point out.
5* Hotel in zentraler Lage der Dinkelsbühler Altstadt. Hervorragende Integration eines komfortablen Hotels mit allen Annehmlichkeiten in ein historisches Gebäude. Sehr netter, zuvorkommender, unaufdringlicher Service. Zimmer geschmackvoll u. großzügig eingerichtet. Sehr abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbüffet mit teils heimischen, auch hausgemachten Spezialitäten. Besonders gut gelungen empfanden wir den im ausgebaute ehemaligen Dachstuhl eingerichteten SPA - Bereich und das wohltemperierte, überdachte Aussenbecken mit blick auf die Dächer der Altstadt - ein absolutes Highlight!

Der Wochenendausflug nach Nürnberg war einfach spitze 🤩 - mit dem günstigsten Zimmer im Le Meridien auch echte 5-Sterne zu sehr günstigem Preis - ideal besonders, da wir mit dem Zug angereist sind 👍
Vi stannade där i 3 nätter. Om 1 maj. Ett trevligt hotell. Bästa läge, lugnt, vacker utsikt över bergen. Berchtesgaden är inte långt borta. På vintern skulle jag packa snökedjor, speciellt om man inte har fyrhjulsdrift.😆
Vi hade ett rum med terrass. Rummet var stort, inte långa avstånd, mycket vänlig och kompetent service. Frukost utmärkt. Även middagen var bra när det gäller smak och service. Precis som det ska vara på ett 5-stjärnigt hotell.
Kritikpunkter:
- Parkering debiteras extra. Enligt min mening borde det ingå i priset. Åtminstone utomhusparkering. Det positiva är betjänad service och att extrakostnaderna listades transparent.
- Gym är inte 5-stjärnig nivå. Alldeles för små och andra klassens anläggningar. Även om alla muskelgrupper kan tränas med den befintliga utrustningen bör det finnas några fler maskiner och ett större utrymme.
- Pool. Mycket trevlig utomhuspool. Det finns tillräckligt med solstolar för att koppla av med en vacker utsikt. Inomhuspoolen kunde vara större. Den är olämplig för simning. Tillräckligt för barn.
– De två största kritikpunkterna ur min synvinkel är: Terrass med utdragbar takgardin. Rullgardinen dras helt enkelt in automatiskt när det regnar eller inte kan dras ut. En ren solgardin. Det skulle vara trevligt att kunna använda ett fällbart tak även när det regnar. För det andra: priserna. Maten och servicen är på topp. Men de är oproportionerliga till priserna. En lite utökad meny, gärna lite mer internationell, vore också bra.
Sammantaget skulle jag ge det 3 stjärnor. Den övre klassificeringen i läge, service, renlighet och faciliteter återspeglar endast delvis den detaljerade bedömningen.

I seldom give bad reviews to the service staff because no matter in which country the service staff is hard and will face a lot of unfriendly guests. But this time in Westin made me feel very bad. Total three days of breakfast, first day because I went with my dad and I could see well with my baby. The second day dad was too tired to join us. I was the only one to babysit a one year old baby. While I was ordering tea with the waitress, she accidentally knocked over the milk and spilled it all over the table. But the first thing I did was apologize to a lady server and assisted her in cleaning it up. Of course it was not clean as new. When we went back on the third day, an older male waiter came over to chastise us before we even sat down, presumably meaning that he had soiled the dining chairs yesterday and told us to sit in the baby chairs. I stated that there was no problem and apologized again. Surprisingly he shrugged it off and left without bringing me the baby chair and without serving me tea. You can imagine how embarrassed I was. The person who came to enjoy the service was scolded. That wasn't enough. This time I was with my dad and the baby wasn't creating extra trash and I could make sure the table was clean. The way normal polite people would bring it. The man ended up coming back to chant as we were leaving and kept saying we created trash.????? You didn't have a single crumb from your meal? If you don't want to serve customers, you have the option of changing jobs. Several other lady waiters were very friendly. What was a very good impression of the hotel was ruined by this one person. We will be going to Munich often but are not going to choose this hotel again. No one wants to be stared at by a mean person while eating breakfast.
Great location, 2 minutes to the main strip. Restaurants are nearby. AC in the room. Minibar is included in the stay (beer, pop, juice, water). Wellness area is quiet and large, typical of this type of hotel.

The staff is quite nice & helpful. The spa and gym is quite nice, and breakfast is good too.
However, my mom found a little dirty stuff in the shower when she first got into her room. That's a minus.
Overall, the hotel is quite good.

SSkyshanghaiReally enjoyed my stay at Louis Hotel. Location cannot be beat by any other hotel in the whole of Munich. Room was really really really beautiful furnishings. The bed and bedding was really luxurious. Minibar was inclusive which is nice and makes one enjoy the room even more. Front desk could be more friendly though, perhaps more training on being more genuine as at times the smiles were really forced, but that could be a Munich thing, dunno.
