11/10 Exceptional Service by Guest Relations Officer, Dita and Zhafira. Pool was Fantastic. Breakfast Buffet was divine. Welcome Gelato was a Bonus. Room was Perfect. Service in general by All Staffs were impeccable and faultless. Extra surprise for our Anniversary and daughters birthday was the sweetest!

Hotel restaurant is very nice with chilled ambience. The lobby is grand with good taste. The room is clean, a bit old though.

The noise outside the room is still very loud if there are people in the elevator... the restaurant cannot be used for breakfast all at once if the hotel is full... perhaps this is something to consider. Also, the sauna facilities and the 30th floor are specifically for guests staying in suite-type rooms.

An experience worth coming for and coming back to. The Gumaya serves as a reminder of what quality service can become when great products are handled by great people. The rooftop bar offers exquisite views, and friendly staff tend to your every need. A staple since the early 2000s for families and solo travelers alike, the Gumaya evolved into a quality offering in a sea of competition for the best 5 star in Semarang. Clean and spacious rooms with a good view either side, tasteful decor, and a comfortable overall experience. Breakfast was Lucious and plentiful, easy parking, and central location to explore Semarang plus the added taxi convenience makes it an all rounder

I recently had a delightful stay at Hotel Tentrem in Semarang, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience. The cleanliness of the rooms and restrooms was impressive, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The hotel amenities, including the gym, were excellent and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for me was the delicious breakfast spread. The variety was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I also want to give a special shoutout to Ibuk Elfi for her warm hospitality during breakfast. Her cheerful demeanor made our mornings even more enjoyable. As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the skills of Mas Arafi, the barista. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, mocaccino, and café latte he prepared; each cup was a treat. His knowledge of coffee truly shines through in every sip. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our recent stay at this establishment was nothing short of exemplary. The property is immaculately maintained, with a lobby that immediately captivates guests through its refined ambiance and tasteful design. Our accommodation was impeccably prepared and afforded my wife, our child, and me a serene and comfortable retreat. The swimming pool offered an invigoratingly cool respite, while the breakfast spread was both sumptuous and artfully presented. Every member of the hotel’s staff demonstrated exceptional warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness, elevating our experience from merely pleasant to truly memorable.

Overall service was excellent especially Mr Aviet, duty manager. I highlighted to him that there was no view at all in my room; the mirror was stained and the tap water splashing when turned on. He immediately came to my room and gave options for a change. He swapped my room on the same floor with a nice view on the second day for the rest of my stay. We had a nice experience staying at Grand Mercure Solo Baru! The location was perfect and reachable to all around the city. The room was really cozy. Cleanliness could be slightly improved as we could see signs of aging, including at the gym. But overall, we would come back!
