I walked from Bologna airport late at night. I walked on pavements a large grass verge and a quiet road. Other reviews say the route is not safe but as long as you are not with children I would disagree. It took about 20 mins to walk it and coming back I was able to take the reasonably large mini bus which was then running in the morning. As far as the hotel is concerned it was clean, friendly enough and did the job for an overnight stopover. I would stay again

The single room is a bit small. I'd suggest getting a double room even if you're by yourself. My ground floor room wasn't very quiet, and the safe didn't work. But the service was awesome! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic with tons of options. The location is perfect, walking distance to downtown.

A hotel caters for conferences and business meetings. Very spacious common area with plenty of comfortable seating and lovely outdoors area in the middle of the hotel. The room and bathroom are spacious and modern. The downside is the toiletries, the shampoo, body wash and body lotion smelt off. Luckily I brought my own because the fragrance of their complimentary toiletries was unacceptable.
The buffet breakfast was decent and plentiful with the hot foods and pastry section. The standouts were the fresh croissants, bacon and the coffee from the self-service machine was just like the bar. The fresh fruits were tasteless but I loved the dried nuts selection.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The gym also had a variety of professional equipment. I would definitely return and recommend to other travellers but bring your own toiletries.

The location is perfect, the hotel is nice. I arrived earlier and asked for a early check in but they said it was not possibile and I was waiting on the sofa. Nobody informed me when the room could be ready to get in.. and when I asked it was actually ready. A pity as someone could notice me about that and not letting me waiting there in the hall… the rest all ok!

I was very happy with the room and it's facilities. I really liked that the safe had a key rather than the key pad which I can never work.
I was more than happy with the level of service provided. On my first night I asked reception what plugs were used in the rooms and I was loaned an adapter plug. This was greatly appreciated as I didn't have the correct plug. Also, when I asked for help to call a taxi the night before, at reception, a note was left for the morning reception to call a taxi. True to his word a taxi was called and as stated the taxi arrived within 5 mins.
All in all I was very happy with my hotel room, the staff and the location which was very close, to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.
I will definitely return to Rimini and the Royal Plaza.

Perfect hotel all in all, I couldn't find any dissatisfaction point to mention, starting from location to the services and amenities if you're looking for an amazing stay in Bologna book this place, you'll be literally 5 minutes walk from the center and main attractions, you'll enjoy the decoration inside the hotel and the various amenities, and you'll be welcomed very warmly by the staff who are super friendly and helpful. Will comeback here again whenever I'm visiting Bologna

JJoe RossiterBooked this hotel as it was situated just off the main dual carriageway and had good road links to Cesena and Forli for trains and good links back to Florence and Pisa for the airport.
The hotel is located in the heart of the town and the entrance isn’t visible from the road. It has its own carpark for €6 per night but there are lots of parking spaces around the town, white lined spaces are Free!! Blue lined space you have to pay for, so check the lines!
Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and informative. The room was spacious and clean, there were two plugs one either side of the bed so being an adapter and extension cable for extra plug space, little mini bar that was reasonably priced and cupboard space with a little safe in.
The swimming pool was warm and the roof opens in the summer. The attendant was knowledgeable and excited to explain that the pool is warmed by the natural springs and that smell of sulphur was from these springs and good for the skin. Pool was long enough to swim in and had bubble jets and falling water.
There is also a bigger thermal spa available but we didn’t have time to make use of that.
Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries and cakes etc, no hot option though. The only negative for breakfast was, staff served all the food, this was challenging with the language barrier and meant you had to ask for anything you wanted….
Town was lovely, lots of little shops and a few restaurants and bars. Towns folk were friendly and helpful and the little market was nice for local products. Lots of walking and cycling routes in the area too

The rooms are well-designed, clean, and comfortable, though they could have been a touch warmer for my preference.
The staff was professional, efficient, and always ready to assist, which added to the overall experience. It’s an ideal choice for a business trip or a short leisure stay of 2-3 days in the region. I’d highly recommend it for anyone seeking a balance of comfort, convenience, and professionalism!

JJohn Wicked確實是一線海景不假，距離火車站有些小遠，但是看海邊日出很方便。房間確實夠小夠老，地板上都滿滿地是劃痕。衞生條件尚可，早餐也還算不錯。
吐槽一下前台服務生，住的第二天時，我人已經進電梯了還追過來問有沒有鑰匙…未免有點奇怪了。

GGästanvändareThe hotel was only a 15-20-minute walk from the train station. The rooms were much bigger than expected with a comfy couch (and blankets) and TV. There was also an Alexa set up and she played music when directed and was pleasant. The kitchenette had ample utensils and cookware, but no napkins or paper towels. They supplied cold water in a pitcher as well as several bottles of wine (NOT complementary, but reasonably priced. The prices on the list in the room differed from the prices at the front desk, tho.) The complementary slippers were used every day as the tile floors were chilly. There was always enough hot water in the showers, but one bathroom light was out the whole time we were there (reported it to the front desk on the first day and they said they already knew about it, but were waiting on maintenance to fix. We had to make due without it for the six days we were there.) There were instructions on how to use each of the appliances (much appreciated!). It was a short walk to restaurants and cafes and the shopping district. Great accommodations for the price point and lots of room.

Unfortunately this time had a bad experience on it .
Never happened in this 4 star hotel .
The staff given the room key and well check-in for our clients at Italy time 9:00pm , Once they entranced into the room . The room was occupied. We immediately run to the front desk , the stafff use 1 hour to handle the case and said not available the triple room .
We didn’t said we must the triple room , we are 2 persons
At least settled down for us at night time . She use 1 hour slowly motion to handle the case . And said we have 2 single room for us but need extra EURO20/per room means extra total EUR 40 more . At that moment we only accepted because at night 10pm . We never see this non professional skill on any star hotel . We are happy on their management. They want to understand what happened on their staff . Management will to listen and known what are the mistakes on their staff . Thank you for their management officers.

GGästanvändareThe location although 7 km from the city center that seems near it is not! You have to walk 15-20 min to the nearest bus station and then there are only 2 buses running every hour to reach city center. If you miss the first one then you have to wait another 25 minutes for the second one!
If you are planning your trip on foot avoid this one. If you rent a car there is a parking lot outside in the courtyard of the hotel and several more just outside the hotel on the street. Both parking spots are in the open. Hotel offers a closed parking spot in its basement but on pay.
We had to change room the next day of our arrival as there was a noise coming out of the ventilation system. A supervisor came to inspect the room and after verifying our sayings offered us a room 2 floor down.
During our stay one of the three lift was out of order and it was a nightmare to come down in the morning during peak hours. All three days we were getting to lobby by stairs.

AAlfYYIt is a very well-located hotel, right in the ”heart” of Modena. It's in the ZTL zone, not to worry, the staff were very vigilant & assisted with the ZTL coupon which was valid for the stay.
The hotel is a bit ”old”, so don't expect much, however, the rooms are nicely furnished. Mattresses are firm to my liking and there is enough toiletries. Breakfast was sumptuous! A delicious spread & of high quality.
Note as the hotel is a bit old, don't expect top grade elevators - they are narrow, and the rooms a bit ”hollow”. Opens up to the balcony with excellent ”minor” view of the basilica. However, sound travels and you can hear the next door neighbour if they speak loudly or slam the door.
Parking, however, is a nightmare, as expected of this very narrow town. No fault of the hotel itself. You can find parking nearby, may have to walk 5-6 mins. The excellent English speaking Reception/Check In Staff will assist with that & all my questions were answered.
