Had a very warm welcome. The hotel is a little dated, but was clean. Super friendly and helpful staff and a very large continental breakfast. There were cute tiny olive oil bottles, which was very appreciated. The coffee is a self-serve machine and there was canteen serve for all manner of hot foods, lots of bakery variety. I really enjoyed my one night stay after missing a flight at Verona airport. The staff helped me plan a really fun day until my flight the next day, they stored my luggage, while I went to see the sights. The most beautiful square in the world, dantes statue, Romeo and Juliets balcony, the castle, the river, the amphitheatre and I was lucky to find a wonderful festive market. A wonderful night and day in Verona. I went to the gusti gardens which absolutely wonderful highlight of my day.

The staff at the hotel are so friendly and professional! We loved the the guy at check in, so friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the spa. The breakfast is decent I would say, basic things, cakes and pastry are so delicious, the juices are soso.

Hotel Principe is truly one of the most convenient stays in Venice, located just a short walk from the Santa Lucia train station — a great advantage in a city full of bridges and steps . The hotel offers two guest lifts, which makes moving around with luggage incredibly easy.
The lounge area is spacious, beautifully decorated, and provides a warm, elegant welcome. One of the highlights is the direct access to the Venice canal right from within the hotel. You can relax and enjoy the charming view of boats gliding along the water — a quintessential Venetian experience.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, offering a pleasant stay overall. We genuinely hope the hotel continues to maintain its good standard, as we would love to return on our future visits to Venice.
No words to say really and the fact that the guy who was resptionist told me this is not my responsibility and I am not a waiter to bring blankets for you was anoteher level. I really like to discuss this with their manager because I've been to that hotel before and I aimed to go again but I don't think so anymore. Not me and my family!
The receptionist was not professional and they expected me to go to their other building to collect the blankets that they did not provide! They were rude that they wanted to get to my room with out prior permission from me to check if the room actually has blankets or not!!!! They did not trust my words as a guest!!! this was so not respectful and of course I did not let them in to the room at 11 pm while my parents are sleeping and told them to check the room while I am checking out in the morning!!
OMG I was waiting for blanket since 12 pm!!!! And they said you should come and collect it because we don't have staff!!!! a 4 star hotel! And once I went there they actually had 2 staff!

The hotel is located in a good area, which makes it convenient to get around, and the staff was responsive whenever we called, which we appreciated. Overall, the stay was comfortable.
However, there are a few points that could be improved. Drinking water and cold drinks were chargeable, which was a bit disappointing. For a couple, only two towels were provided—there were no face towels. Additionally, the bed linens were not very clean, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the pillows.
On a positive note, the bathroom and bathtub were clean, but the bathtub was quite small and may not be comfortable for someone with a bulky build.
With some improvements in cleanliness and basic amenities, the experience could be much better.

LLady WI was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices.
The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day.
The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip.
Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work!
Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes.
The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.
GGästanvändareThe hotel location is excellent. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the train and bus stations that go to Venice and the airport. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and clean, and reception service was okay. But one thing really annoyed me: I don’t understand why a 4-star hotel doesn’t provide a kettle in the room. I drink tea, and there was only a coffee machine available. The reception told me to get hot water from the bar, which is fine, but the hot water looked dirty and didn’t seem clean. Also, the curtains never fully closed, there was always a gap, so it didn’t feel fully private.

AAnonym användareHotellets läge är mycket bra. Den sjunde bilden är från rummet mittemot tågstationen. Det är väldigt bekvämt att åka till huvudön.
Rummet är stort med två dubbelsängar. Toaletterna och badrummen är också mycket stora, mycket större än andra hotell i Europa.
Men här kommer poängen!
Inget varmvatten, ingen kaffemaskin
Ingen tandkräm eller tandborste förstår jag
Det finns tofflor, tvål och duschmössa (vilken konstig konfiguration)
Minibaren har drycker och vin Mineralvatten är 2,5 euro.
Priset på 2,2 ml i snabbköpet mittemot är högre än på hotellet.

Frukosten är inte så illa alls
Kanske hade jag små men läckra måltider innan, men att äta den här känns som en stor matsal. Cafeterian är mycket stor och rymmer två stora resegrupper.
Giffeln är söt, gurkan är lite syrlig och pannkakan som görs för hand är ganska god.
Du kan välja här om du reser bekvämt, annars kan du hoppa över det.

MMK86Location is very good, right in the center and near the Gondola rides and private water taxis. Only issue was that our room had small toilet flies flying around, saw at least 5. Front desk staff were mostly helpful too
MMartin SnellingWe recently stayed here for 5 nights to take in the sights of Verona and surrounding cities. While I can't complain about the price, and for that, it was a bargain, there were a number of issues that resulted in a less than perfect rating.
The location: While it looks close to the main train station, it is about a 25 minute walk. However the 23/24/73 buses run regularly and pick-up / drop-off very close to the hotel
Lidl: next door to the hotel is a Lidl - it was a godsend and well worth visiting (if only for the fresh cheese focaccia).
The hotel itself was very clean but:
- The rooms have wooden floors and the walls aren't super-thick. So, when someone checks in to their room nearby, you can hear everything. At midnight, it isn't great when they're walking in heels across the floor.
- Lack of plug sockets - there was one usable plug in the room that is shared with the kettle, and one in the bathroom!
- Air conditioning (or severe lack of) - the rooms have air con, however, it wasn't switched on and I was told by reception that at this time of year (October) they don't have it switched on. The room temp was in the high 20s which led to us not actually sleeping under the covers - we spend 5 night sleeping on top of the bed as the room was just too hot. We couldn't sleep with the window open as their was too much noise from outside.
- The toilet flush was leaking 'hot water' - but this was repaired / replaced with a different toilet flush
- Staff: They were helpful when housekeeping has vacuumed up one of my wife's earrings, but didn't offer any assistance with regards to the heating in the room
AAshley5830The hotel offers exceptional service and amenities, surpassing typical expectations for a 4-star establishment. Its convenient location includes a bus stop directly across the street providing easy access to Venice city center. Additionally, there's a large supermarket nearby for quick snacks or groceries. Overall, it's excellent value for money.
下下原渚Location was excellent!!!! It’s close to the station. If you have a big suitcase, I highly recommend you to book this hotel.

Vi var tvungna att fånga den första flygningen och behövde ha en snabb frukost innan vi lämnade efter vår vistelse. Eftersom vi stannade där i tre nätter, hade vi frukost och också middag i deras utflykt under hela vår vistelse, blev vi förvånade över att personalen berättade att de inte hade våra rekord på förra morgonen, vi sitter inte för frukost och måste vänta på dem, Det vore bättre om vi satte oss för att tillåta hotellet att sortera ut det eftersom vi måste lämna för våra flyg.Tyvärr sa personalen också till oss “de har hundratals gäster så det är inte möjligt att känna igen oss”. ”Det finns ingen rekord”, och efter att ha väntat på mer än tio minuter kom de tillbaka och berättade igen ”Det finns ingen rekord”.Jag bad om att ordna saken med chefen och de sa bara att vi kunde gå över till mottagaren medan det finns en lång rad gäster. Utan att skära av linjen väntade jag på lobbyn.Efter personalen på mottagaren följde inte heller efter situationen efter att köen hade städats eller be om ursäkt för den brutala attityden.Vi lämnade hotellet efter att de förstörde vår erfarenhet i Venedig. Hela den goda erfarenheten förlorades på grund av brist på gästtjänst.Jag rekommenderar inte att någon stannar här, och det är en skam över Hyatt-märket.

It was building in the XV century, so it has special character and you can feel it in the air!
