Lyxhotell i Kairo

"Det är värt att bo här. Trevlig personal i receptionen.

"Cairo Marriott Mena House left an indelible impression on me. With stunning views of the Pyramids of Giza, impeccable service, and elegant rooms, this 5-star hotel provided a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it for a luxurious stay in Cairo."

"We arrived at 9:45pm on 31st December, went to reception desk to check in. It took us about 5-10 minutes, but the room we were provided wasn’t same to what we have booked. On description was clearly saying “the view to the city and river” with balcony. When we entered the room all the windows were locked with no any sort of views from it. After we went back and complained, reception stuff could only say “sorry, we have no other available rooms for exchange”. Only one alternative option is to pay extra $65 dollars for a better room. And that was New Year Eve and 2 hours before midnight. We had no other options as to get that upgrade and pay this money. Very disappointing experience from 5* star hotel. Recommend to be ver careful before you book any room at this hotel."

"Soooooo Wonderful! Considering to its price, this is the best hotel !! Thank you so much!!!!!! So beautiful lobby! Amazing breakfast, So kind workers! Cleaning the room is perfect! The room cleaners are working so hard and they are artists! They can make so many beautiful shape with blanket!"

"Hotel is new and looks great. It’s out of the way from downtown which makes it more peaceful. We stayed a few nights, breakfast and the pool amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. However a few things to point out that I was going to but needs to be said. No privacy as workers working most of day outside of room so the window and curtains had to be closed or creepy men looking at you. Door connected to another room and not good sound proofing or insulation, can here everything other people are doing. Bed sheets had some blue dye stains on them the first night which was unwelcoming. Lastly, we decided to check out one night before, going to pay for mini bar things. The menu is priced in local money and not in dollars and doesn’t have VAT included, also a mini bar service charge is charged for the house keeper to refill which is hilarious at best as you pay for the room. That should include her to top up the fridge just as she would top up towels. Water isn’t free only a big bottle and not the small bottles so be careful. They don’t explain that clearly. So, once I saw my bill I tried to talk with front of house about it. He treated me like and ***** and said I need to pay in USA dollar and I said then why have a menu in your local currency. He couldn’t give me a good answer and just said all hotels do it. Then he started to laugh and tell me this is little USA money and so on and laugh again. I ended up paying my bill just to get out of the hotel as his attitude was poor and almost sarcastic. I paid then he said I’m welcome back be he will give compensation. I said well you wouldn’t help me swap a day to later in the week to return as early check out before so am good. Overall, we left the hotel in a poor mood and not acceptable. I’ve worked and work for these hotels and that is just poor. That was the biggest let down unfortunately."

"The iconic hotel located at this perfect location facing the great pyramids with a rich history and it did not disappoint us in general. Easy access to the pyramids, GEM tour. Good service and friendly staff. However, we paid for more to get an upgraded room - to have the partial pyramids view. Yet, there was a wedding ceremony setup inside the hotel, which affected our overall experience. The Indian restaurant was quite recommended! Lunch at 139 was also good!"

"Fabulous! After a busy few days staying elsewhere in Cairo it was wonderful to reach the sanctuary of the Ramses Hilton. We were upgraded to an Executive room and spent a great afternoon just admiring the view and the Nile from our high balcony, and relaxing by / swimming in the (almost-hot!) pool. The room had everything we could ask for and the bed was super comfortable. Service was impeccable, and our dinner and a few beers were good value. Highly recommended 👌"

"My stay at Sofitel Downtown Cairo was genuinely pleasant and absolutely worth the money. The hotel delivers a high standard of comfort, but what truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional staff. Special thanks to Ahmed Zakarya at the front desk for his professionalism and warm welcome. Appreciation as well to Shaker from housekeeping for his attentiveness and consistency. I would also like to extend special thanks to the ladies at Solana, the breakfast restaurant—Zakeyh and Hanan—who are truly the gems of the restaurant. Their kindness, energy, and attention to detail made breakfast a highlight of each day. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, driven by excellent service and a strong hospitality culture. I would gladly stay here again."

"Very friendly, thoughtful and helpful staff, rooms are immaculately clean. Restaurants are among the best I’ve ever eaten in. It was my birthday during my stay and they even delivered a birthday cake to my room. Would definitely recommend this place to stay. His was my view from a Nile River Room with king bed and balcony"

"I have a memorable experience during my stay FG room with full Nile View with Lounge Access. FG team members are well trained, patient, professional and more. What impressed me most was their food. Food and beverages were delicious. One of the staff asked me what I want to order for my dinner, then I said I'm vegetarian. The staff helped me to confirm with chef regarding my request and at the end served me a vegetarian spaghetti. It was so delicious. Besides that, the check-in and check-out process was very smooth. I like the welcome drink and chocolate too. Thanks to the FG teams, thanks to cleaner (cannot remember his name) and thanks to Irish as well."
