I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.
The restaurant was excellent, and every meal was delicious and well prepared.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax.
Most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always making me feel welcome.
Thanks to their hospitality, my stay was truly enjoyable, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Me and my mum recently had the pleasure of staying at Royal Boutique Hotel. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. It is close to the airport which is quite convenient. The staff was professional,welcoming and attentive. The check in went smoothly. The room was lovely and spacious and clean. Food provided was fantastic.
All the services were top notch. Taxi services are also available through hotel if you need to go places during your stay there.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a hassle free stay. Staff members always happy to go an extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable as possible.

Hotel is just at the heart of Thamel yet hidden in a quite side street.
Hotel manager Raj and the two front desk young guy has no limit to help you and make you feel comfortable and happy. You can ask any help and they will make it come true or find a solution for your problem.

The hotel staff is very courteous and the food at the hotel is delicious. It's located very close to Lord Pashupatinath temple, hardly 5 minutes walking distance. Very close to the airport as well.

Beds in the dorm were really clean and AC was strong. Staff was extremely helpful. Dorms only on the top floor and no elevator if that matters. Location is a bit loud but I don’t think you can avoid it really in Thamel.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed during my visit. This stay is value for money! Enjoyed their clean bathrooms and well-maintained rooftop restaurant. Receptionists are helpful too. You can book airport transfer for departure on the spot at 1000 rupees. I have nothing but good stuff to say about this lovely hostel, tucked away in a quieter area amidst the bustle of Thamel. Even met friendly roommates who are respectful of each other’s space and privacy here. This adds a little something special to my short stay here in Kathmandu. Thank you for providing a comfy space.

From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed an authentic and warm hospitality that made us feel truly at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with every request went above and beyond our expectations.
One of the highlights of our stay was the remarkable cleanliness and tranquility of our room. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure a pristine environment, allowing us to relax and unwind in utmost comfort. The icing on the cake was the superb internet reception, which allowed us to stay connected seamlessly throughout our stay.
Our stay was punctuated by delightful mornings indulging in an exquisite breakfast spread. The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight!
The hotel's al fresco dining experience was an absolute treat. The ambiance was charming, and the food left an indelible mark on our taste buds. With each meal, we explored a plethora of different dishes, each more tantalizing than the last. It's safe to say that the culinary offerings exceeded our expectations in every way.
A noteworthy mention is the hotel's convenient proximity to Boudha Stupa, a mere 10-minute walk away. This made our visits to the stupa incredibly convenient and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in its serene atmosphere.
What sets this hotel apart is not only its remarkable amenities and services but also the unique opportunity it offers. The daily free yoga and meditation sessions held within the monastery on the premises are truly transformative. We highly recommend inquiring about the schedule from the attentive hotel staff – it's an experience that added immeasurable value to our stay.
In summary, our time at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, immaculate rooms, delectable cuisine, and the added touch of free yoga and meditation sessions make this hotel a standout choice for anyone seeking a memorable stay near Boudha Stupa. GGästanvändareThe room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it.
Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out.
At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service!
Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on.
I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw!
Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome.
All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return.
As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

GGästanvändareI stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

We had a truly pleasant stay in Pokhara at Magnificent Hotel. The location is excellent — close to Phewa Lake and within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, and shops, yet the atmosphere remains calm and relaxing.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything needed for a restful stay. The space feels bright and welcoming, and housekeeping keeps everything neat and fresh each day. After long days of exploring, it was the perfect place to unwind.
The staff made a strong impression with their kindness and professionalism. They were always ready to assist with directions, transportation, or local recommendations, and their warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome.
Another highlight is the peaceful environment and lovely views around the property, which add to the relaxing experience. Whether you’re visiting Pokhara for sightseeing or simply to enjoy the scenery, the hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base.
Overall, Magnificent Hotel offers great service, a convenient location, and excellent value. A very enjoyable stay — highly recommended for travelers visiting Pokhara! 🌄

MMH RONYThey are very welcoming, and the reception staff was awesome. They accept international visa card. Every floor have a nice balcony for gossiping, eating coffee and smoking. With this budget, best hotel.
My room was 404.
Problems:
1. The telephone was not dead.
2. Curtains are very thin so in the morning you can't sleep in the sunlight.
3. The doors and windows are very old, that's why if someone is talking outside of the room you will hear everything and maybe they also hear you.
4. They just provide tissue and soap, they didn’t provide toothbrush, toothpaste, or shampoo. So if you booked this hotel keep this with you.
5. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you don't like the stairs, is it not for you and you can talk to the hotel before booking for the 2nd floors room.

GGästanvändareHad a terrible experience at this hotel - booked it as a first stop in Kathmandu on arrival in Nepal, place to put my luggage while trekking and a last night before flying out of the country.
There is no provision for bag check - no tag given or the like. Asked if could leave / check my bag was told yes and to leave infront of front desk. Two weeks later when I returned to the hotel bag was still in the lobby infront of front desk. Things were missing of course - none of great enough value to argue, but the fact they couldn’t even be bothered to move the bag a few feet to a closet / holding space or the like is indicative of the way this place rolls.
Tried to book a shuttle for early morning to airport through hotel, listed as included service. Despite confirming and reconfirming, they arranged nothing. Instead at 5:15 AM it became a game of let’s make a deal and see how much we can charge while providing no evidence there was even a driver. In the end I gave up and carted my luggage to the street to get a taxi.
Nepal is a wonderful country - this hotel was a consistent bad experience. Rooms themselves are meh - didn’t try the free breakfast, on site restaurant was pretty good, atmosphere/ food. This isn’t a cheap hotel by local standards - for the price point there are much / many options in the area.

GGästanvändareSmall boutique hotel with amazing service, the people are so helpful. Shree Jana at the reception is very cheerful, she always greetings the guest whenever come in and out of the hotel. My flight was early past midnight, they gave special price to stay at the hotel till 3 hours before my departute. Breakfast also good, serves lots of fruits.
Location is close to all the shops and restos.Recommended for travellers who are coming to Kathmandu and want to stay around Thamel.

Et aussi j’ai réclamé un changement de drap et couvertures le gérant m’a promis mais il l’a pas fait , j’ai du dormir 5 jours sur la même couverture
