Chefen kör för att hämta dig på stationen på kvällen, okej! När vi kom till den antika staden kunde vi inte ta oss in med bil, så vi bytte till små elektriska värdshus ligger i norra delen av den antika staden, nära Ma Family Courtyard, och även nära South Street till fots Gården är en innergård, och rummen är små, men de har allt du behöver. Påslakanen och broschyrerna är rena, det finns också engångs-toalettöverdrag, varmvatten tillförs kontinuerligt, luftkonditionering används för kylning och en 1,5-liters stor flaska vatten finns i rummet. Gården är mycket karakteristisk för den antika staden och kan användas för att ta bilder. Det finns en liten restaurang där du kan äta frukost och middag för att besöka sevärdheter kan du köpa biljetter för din räkning och kontakta oss för transport. Innan jag gick gav chefen mig också specialvinäger, så gott!

If you want a more authentic experience than staying in a fancy hotel, this is your place. Mrs Liu (sp?) was so lovely and helpful. She speaks a bit of English and is very fast on the translation apps for what she doesn’t know. She gave us a map of the Ancient City and explained where we should visit. Every day she gave us water bottles. We stayed 2 nights. You can experience a kang bed here, in a cozy room in a quaint courtyard. It was quite firm but still comfortable. There is air con which was needed when we were there. The bathroom is small but we found that everything didn’t get wet, despite the small size of the room. The inn is on the “taxi-bus” route just off South Street. As it is a block from the Main Street it is significantly quieter as the honking of “taxi-buses” doesn’t happen as much in the alleyways. Just be careful to walk on the sides of the road as the mopeds and taxi-buses are electric so quiet, except for the honking which is loud and constant, and they drive quite fast for the size and busyness of the streets. There is plenty of food places just a short walk away from the hotel. The ancient city was a lot more touristy than we had expected. You need to prearrange with the innkeeper to organise a “taxi-bus” to pick you up from the South Gate. Regular cars are not allowed inside the city wall. We were dropped by the DiDi but it is too far and busy to walk with luggage to the inn. Mrs Liu and her husband helped us out with their mopeds. Not many “taxi-bus” drivers know the inn as it is a smaller private hotel, so make sure you have the address printed out to show them. The taxi-bus is 10RMB pp per ride and you can flag them down anywhere on the streets they are allowed on, but they may not want to go where you want to go, so just flag another one until you get one that agrees. You scan the drivers QR code to pay. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Pingyao Yunshu Inn.

Hade varit här en trevlig vistelse! Jag var i en tolvsängd, men rummet är mycket rymligt och har ett privat badrum/dusch, allt super ren, och sen var sängen bekväm. Det enda är att sängljuset låter varje gång det är stängt av: det är roligt, men jag var lite orolig för att störa andra gäster.Åh, jag kunde också göra mitt tvätt utan avgifter och fick en liten välkomstpåse. Läget, även om det inte finns inom stadsmurarna, är nära flera busshållplatser och man kan köra en cykel lätt för alla stora sevärdheter ~ vilket var ett vackert sätt att utforska Datong. Det bästa är dock personalen: otroligt hjälpsam och vänlig. På min sista dag lät de mig stanna förbi checkouttid så att jag kunde fortsätta att arbeta med deras WiFi som var en enorm hjälp, och erbjöd mig att låna en paraply och driva mig när regnet var så tungt. De flesta av def rekommenderar att stanna här när du besöker Datong!

住過七八家青旅後，這家治好了我的選擇困難症！ 這家新開的青旅真的超級超級nice！下面看我娓娓道來 設施：床鋪很大（林林總總住過10餘家青旅，這家親測TOP1️⃣，再也不用擔心睡覺時候把插座打掉了，誰懂這個痛點啊！）、設計超貼心💡，床頭的格子夠高，能隨手放置很多東西 衞生：衞生環境無敵，乾濕分離做的超好，所以清掃工作也很方便就能開展，也不用擔心陰暗的角落！ 男女入門就分宿，安全感拉滿，（就像是洗浴中心那種），公共區域超級多的桌椅和酒水，滿足交友的一切願望！ 服務：老闆人超級無敵好，你要是感興趣還能讓他教你大同方言！ 環境：地理位置步行直達古城🚶，每次回去倒頭就睡，真的超舒服 電器和相關設備堪比五星級。蒸蛋器，微波爐，電吹風，洗衣機…有好多我都是第一次在青旅裏面看到的，真的超級貼心！一定要自己來體驗一下！ 這裏還能租用拍立得！ccd！pocket3！還能和青旅室友們一起組團搭車… 還有超級多的細節等着你自己來發現！我真的超級推薦這裏。 每個細節都寫着”用心”——真的真的不好住算我輸！

A beautiful guesthouse, the rooms are beautiful too. Bed is big and comfy, very clean and the bathroom is modern despite how traditional the building is. Also has great heating if desired. The family that runs the guesthouse is so so sweet. Their food is also delicious and a great option for a quick breakfast (the buns are to die for). Excellent location. All in all would definitely come back and recommend this place.

超出預期的一次入住！酒店裝修簡約大氣，衞生細節拉滿，衞生間乾濕分離。早餐種類豐富美味，服務人員態度温柔，隔音效果也不錯，安靜不吵鬧，強烈推薦！

Modern, clean and comfortable. And with a super friendly and helpful staff who speaks a little English. Wifi is excellent. It is in an apartment building, at the back of the main street, with no signs, so it can be a little bit difficult to find. The reference for Didi is Yongtai college block C.

Good budget hotel in a convenient location for food and the ancient town. Room was clean and everything worked. Didn’t use the breakfast or laundry services so can’t speak on them. Just one note that the hotel is down a road with a gate and it is impossible to book taxis through DiDi to come direct to the door so if you have mobility issues keep this in mind.

The owner was very kind, really a nice and jolly person. This contributed a lot to make our stay pleasant, despite the old room, requiring a urgent maintanance, especially the carpet and the toilet.
