Hotell med 5-stjärniga i Shanghai, Kina

Platsen är den viktigaste motivationen för mig att återvända tider och tider efter. Det är vid avfart 5 eller avfart 19 på tunnelbanestationen Peopls's Square, och bredvid början av Nanjiang Road Walkway som leder till The Bund. Kopplad till 新世界城 köpcentrum med massor av restauranger, en biograf och Madame Tussaud-museet. Tjänsterna är fantastiska - måste berömma personalen. Rum esp mitten till lägre våningar som är lite slitna. De nyare renoverade (superiorrummen) ligger på de övre våningarna och de är mycket bättre. Sammantaget bra valuta för pengarna.

Great location if looking for proximity to airport and disneyland. Free transport to disneyland but return to hotel only at fixed timing every evening.

Rummet var rent och snyggt, och faciliteterna var väl underhållna och kändes inte gamla. Hotellet ligger i ett utmärkt område, och jag valde det för att vara nära startlinjen för Shanghai halvmaraton. Tunnelbanan är bekväm och transporten är smidig utan onödiga omvägar. Från de höga våningarna har man en vidsträckt utsikt utan hinder. På kvällen kunde jag ligga i badkaret och njuta av hela Bund, nattutsikten var särskilt vacker. Personalen var artig, tålmodig och mycket professionell. Incheckningsupplevelsen var lugn och skön.

 Personalen var vänlig och hjälpsam. Jag var mycket nöjd med min vistelse. Hotellet har ett utmärkt läge, bekvämt för allt. Nattutsikten är vacker, och jag kan se Oriental Pearl Tower. Han hjälpte mig med mitt bagage och jag skulle definitivt bo där igen. Rekommenderas starkt. 😂😂

Det tar tio minuter att gå till Bund och njuta av den vackra utsikten över Huangpufloden. Fjärde våningen är utrustad med en tvättstuga och ett gym för att tillgodose resenärers olika behov. Executive Lounge på 16:e våningen erbjuder en bekväm lounge och utmärkt service. Rummen är varma, rena och välskötta, med mjuka sängkläder och ett rent, luktfritt badrum. Xiao Wu och Xiao Ding i receptionen ger utmärkt service och får gästerna att känna sig avslappnade. Det tar tio minuter att gå till Bund och njuta av den vackra utsikten över Huangpufloden. Xiao Ding och Xiao Wu hjälpte mig att beställa hämtmat, vilket var oerhört hjälpsamt. När de gick hjälpte de mig till och med att vinka en taxi. Det hjälpte mig också med att tvätta kläder, vilket var fantastiskt. Verkligen fantastiskt.

Renaissance hotel never let us down, this one locates in the heart of New Pudong area, it’s reasonably close to Centre but less busy or crowded. It’s in a really beautiful area and gave you the aurar of luxury.  Hotel itself is beautiful, modern and most importantly, impeccably presented throughout. The front desk staff were very friendly and made us felt welcomed upon arrival. They then proceed to check us in promptly and most of our modest requests were met without any fuss - this is what 5* hotel is all about!  Once into the room we were again wow’d by the big, modern room and top notch facilities, we immediately knew we would have a great stay (which we did). The beddings were fresh and clean, towels, bath robe and slippers all provided in best conditions.  In the evening we checked out the swimming pool which our children loved (swimming hat required we had to purchase them at rmb100 each), following day before check out we all had great breakfast with a deal purchased via front desk. I’d say a huge thank you to Lynn and the front desk team whom checked us in and arranged everything we need for a wonderful time spent at the Renaissance Hotel, it will be my first choice next time I’m back in SH!  Ps, Lynn was so helpful even ordered takeaways for us since we don’t have local number (if you were to order uber type taxi, takeaway food etc you need to get a local sim) - the CS is out of this world good. And we got the automatic robot delivering them straight to our room

As a couple who has lived in Shanghai together for almost 10 years, with one of us also Shanghainese, we have been to a lot of the best places in Shanghai, and some of the more recommended places in about 20 cities in the broader nearby area. Nothing in the city or within several hours of high-speed rail compares to a stay at Ritz-Carlton Pudong. In Asia and indeed the planet, this impeccable hotel experience stands as an iconic example of old-world elegance and service. In addition, it also offers a unique view of both some of the most modern and tallest buildings and the city’s famed Bund riverside, home to a variety of art deco architectural masterpieces. We had the incredible good fortune to start our honeymoon at the Ritz in Pudong, and this last stay was our last honeymoon treat. As always, it was a spectacular experience that we cannot recommend enough. The most extraordinary part of the stay really is the staff, they are all world class people who go above and beyond to make the Ritz-Carlton Pudong such an exceptional institution in one of the world’s leading cities. Sincere thanks to the whole team for making this happen, including Cherryl, who made reservation delightfully effortless, Chris who helped us to our room, and Joey and Ruby who helped in the evening. Special and heartfelt thanks to the whole team who make the Club Lounge experience world beating: Eddie and Junita, who both lead by example, have a deep passion for the details that create excellence, as well as being just the nicest people. They are both incredibly inspiring leaders and professionals. Claire is generally excellent there but also was phenomenally helpful to get a bag back when it was left behind, we really apricated that. Jeramy and Vivian also are amazing, as are Club Lounge’s chef’s Joe and Austin. Sherry is a real star, attentive, sharp and so helpful. Last but not least, Helen, who was the first person to greet us after we got married, and fittingly the last person to help us create personalised room key cards with our wedding photo on it, and most recently a special photo of family from our honeymoon. Those keycards are really cool keepsakes, but making them is not as simple as you might think: the image is etched into the key, not printed, so the original photo needs to be translated by AI into an image that the etching system is capable of delivering, which is really impressive. When I showed my mom who lives very far away, even she was impressed with Helen’s work. Ordinarily we prioritise new experiences over more of the same, regardless of how comfortable and nice it is. But regardless of how hard we try, we have not been able to figure out a better way to celebrate our biggest moments than a stay at the Ritz in Pudong.

We booked 2 standard rooms and they upgraded us to Skyline rooms during check in upon learning that we’re GHA members.  We’ve got fantastic view of the bund from our rooms.  I left my glass window open throughout the night to enjoy the view.  The location is very good, within walking distance to the shopping malls around Oriental Pearl Tower.  We also enjoyed the lounge for 1 nite by paying extra ¥350 per room as GHA member.  The coffee and egg Benedict were fantastic.  The breakfast spread at Elements restaurant was good, lots of varieties from both western & oriental cuisines.  Very good deal we got !

One word. Excellent. Marvellous customer service. Service orientated hotel. Location is good too as it’s located exactly at nanjing pedestrian street with access to metro line 2. Special credit to Justin Wu during my check in. Fast check in and voluntarily upgraded us even without us requesting. Kudos for great attentive attitude. We were also given late check out as my flight back is late at night. Appreciate his understanding. Smooth check out process too especially with a sweet young beautiful lady named starry cui. Can converse well in English too. Gave us a complimentary plushie which makes a great memorable gift. Will definitely stay in crowne plaza if I am to drop by Shanghai again

Hotel was nice. Thier reception people talk in english. They helped me to find my lost baggage at night 12 am. Hotel has shop where you can buy winter jackets and starbuck at reception area. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Very few hotel in china has this type of full fledge breakfast area. I found almost everything in breakfast items. For foreigners this hotel is very best at lowest price. Century avenue Subway station is at 5 min walking distance. Hotel has 5th floor spa. Must try. Cost is higher ~ 600 rmb but services you would like if you are on business trip.
